Do you live, work or study in Korea for more than 6 monthes with ARC? If yes, you can apply Z from the CVSAC in Seoul with your ARC. If you do not have it, you may need to go to consult the CVSAC in Seoul or you need to go back to UK for applying.

Thank you for your informative reply. I've been working in Korea for 3yrs, my ARC will expire in September so I will start the process now.

When will you go to China? Usually, the valid of Z is around 3 monthes, so you need to pay attention to the time. If you go there in around Oct, you can apply now.
