About:China Visa on Arrival

can i get VOA for Guanzhou travelling overland

Hi,
I am Australian citizen, wanting to enter Shenzhen on VOA for 3 days, but spend the two nights in Guangzhou. arrival and departure will be from Hong Kong, via Shenzhen on train. is this allowed?

It is not allowed.
You can apply a VOA at Shenzhe Border, but you are not allowed to go to other places with your Shenzhen VOA. If you want to enter Guangzhou, you are suggested to apply for L type single entry.
