About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

so i'm canadian, and i have a visa for mainland china but i want to visit hongkong,

i know i can get into hongkong, the question i want to ask is if i can go back to the mainland afterwards?

You can not get back to mainland China from HK if you have only a single entry visa.
