About:Chinese Zodiac Compatibility

We are both OX's so would we be compatible?

My birthday is on May 12, 1997 and his is February 22, 1997. I've been friends with him for 3 years and had a major crush for 1 year. As I'm really shy about asking him out and afraid to run our friendship if I do.
