About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Tourist Visa to Shanghai

I am British living in England. Will be visiting my son who lives in Shanghai with his Chinese wife. I will be staying with them for 2 weeks. Please advise what type to apply for and what information is required.

Since you just stay 2 weeks, you can apply for a L type with single entry.
You can take your passport, application form with recent taken photo, invitation letter from your son to apply in CVASC in London.
