About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Can I apply for tourist visa without an agency if i have a student residence permit in Japan?

I am afraid that you cannot do that according to the policy. As I know, you need to apply through a travel agency. Anyway, you can contact any for the latest information if possible.

I am afraid not, but any tour agency who can organize trip to China can help you to apply for application. You can confirm this with the embassy directly if necessary.
