buying tickets in train station

Hi there!I am planning to go to Shanghai Hongqiao from Hangzhou, ten days from now.My questions:1. Is it possible to buy tickets on the spot (at Hangzhou station's counter)?2. Can I line up and buy for four people? 3. Do I need to bring any identification?Thank you from Malaysia!

1. yes, it is possible, but you may not able to get the ticket for the train you wan to take. 2. yes, you can, but you are required to provide both yours and other passemgers' passport.3. the original of your passports.
