About:China Visa Exemption

Indonesian with Japan visa to apply for a visa to China

I am Indonesian and have valid Japan visa (plus Japan alien card) until Dec 2014, Do I need to apply China's to go to China on August 2014 ?

Yes, sure you need one for visiting China and according to the rules, you should apply through a local tour agency. Anyway, you can contact any agency for the latest information.
