About:Beijing Travel

Itinerary for 6 nights in Beijing

Hi, I will be travelling to the city and will arrive on July 23rd, 2014 at 1 AM in the International Airport (PEK). Our trip will be 6 nights. How is the weather? Where is the best hotel to stay in the city with minimum budget as we plan to visit some awesome places in and around BJ. Can you propose a few itineraries (as comprehensive as possible). Our objective is to visit as many places as possible and shopping as well. Thank you.

It will be a little bit hot during that time and the temperature shall range from 20℃ to 29℃ or a little higher. What a pleasant weather! You are so lucky that the temp wont reach 35℃ or so. Cloudy days would happen then and you may also meet two or three shower days, but the rain won't last for a whole day.

I know two budge hostels: Happy Gragon Hostel near Dongsi metro station and Leo Hostel near Qianmen pedestrian. Just search them online to make a final decision!

To be honest, six nights are too much only for visiting this city, so I suggest you spend around two days in Tianjin as well. Then here is my general suggestion:
Day 1: Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City - Temple of Heaven
Day 2: Summer Palace & Old Summer Palace - Bird Nest - Water Cube - Wangfujing Pedestrian
Day 3: Badaling Great Wall - Ming Tombs
Day 4: Qianmen - Dazhalan - Yonghegong Lama Temple
Day 5-6: Tianjin. The main attractions are Ancient Cultural Street, Great Mosque, Radio and Television Tower and Mt. Panshan Scenic Area.
