About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Assigned seating on trains

Do "D" trains have assigned seating? I rode on a K type with no assigned seating and had to sit on the floor.

all the seats are assigned, unless you bought a ticket for standing room. there are seat number on your ticket, according to which you can find your seat.
did someone sit on your seat last time on the K type? if so, you could as him/her to leave.
