About:Shanghai Travel

I'm leading a group of 20 students (mostly 18 years) to Suzhou. Which is the best way to get there from Shanghai?

1. It is better to take the bullet train from Pudong Airport to Suzhou? Or talk the airport coach? Which is cheaper? How long does it take for bullet train to go from Pudong to Suzhou? How long will it take if i take the airport coach?
2. Can I buy the tickets in advance instead of the day of arrival as i am afraid that the tickets may be sold out?
3. If yes, how many days in advance can i buy?
Thank you

1. No direct bullet train is available from the airport to your destination. As for your case, it is best to take the direct intercity bus at PVG to Suzhou, which takes around three hours and the bus fare is around CNY50. If traveling by train, the duration is 2.5-3h.
2. Usually, the coach tickets won't be solfd out, so you can just buy that on the spot. To book that in advance, you can consult the coach station in the airport by calling 021-68345743.
