What is the best way to get from Shanghai Pudong to the rail station in Hongqiao? Distance n cost?

If you start from Pudong Airport, the railway station is about 55 kilometers from it. The cheapest way to get there is taking the subway line 2. It will take 90 minutes or a little longer and cost CNY 8. Or you can take the airport shuttle bus line 1 and get off at Hongqiao Airport. Then walk to the railway station. It will take around 80 minutes and cost CNY 30.
