May I know how close you and your relatives are? If you are very close like husband and wife, child and parents or something like this, you can appy for a S1 visa, which allows you stay for 90 days to at most five years. If uare not qualified for that, I suggest you find a job in China and then you can apply for a Z visa, which allows you to stay 90 days to at most five years.

Hi, if your grandparents are Chinese or permanent Chinese residents, you are eligible to apply for family reunion Q1 type for longer stay. This one also requries to get a temporary residence permit within 30 days after entry. You just need to prepare an invitation letter as well as copies of invitor's Chinese ID/passport with residence permit, and a proof of kinship for application.
