About:China Visa Exemption

Do I need a transit visa for traveling through China by China Southern airlines to India?

I am a Indian passport holder and having New Zealand permanent resident. I would like to travel to India by China southern airline.

If you transit less than 24 hours in China, you needn't apply for the G type.
