About:China Business Visa

Can you work for more than one business using category M?

I applied for a summer job through a business and my visa was granted however I no longer feel able to work for them, I have found a new job but the initial company is saying it is only issued for them so I would have to leave china an reapply. Is there anyway I can swap or inform the embassy?

Hi, if you intend to work in China, you have to apply for a Z type. To work on an M is illegal actually, so the new company want you to leave and apply for a work Z.

Hi, I think it is possible to apply for M extension at local PSB without leaving. You shall submit legal registration certificate of the inviter and Chinese official letter with official seal of the Unit issued by the inviting units to Exit-entry Administration Department of the local PSB.
