How far are the Grottoes from Louyang Longman Train Station? Is it walkable?

There is around 6km between the two places, so it is not walkable. You need to take the public bus line 71 to travel.

For the nearby rooms that can be walkable, I am not very clear about what information you want to know. Would you mind make it clear for me?

Thank you. I will be arriving at Louyang Longmen station at 9 at night, The next day I want to see the Grottoes. Then I catch a train to Changsha from the same train station. So I am looking for a cheap, convenient room to stay in where getting to the station and grottoes is easy. Preferably a hostel with a private room/bath.
Bus line 71 will go between the Longmen station and the grottoes??????

Firstly, I'd love to inform you that bus no. 71 connects the two destinations, but they are not terminuses. Just get on the bus and ask the driver to drop u off at the grottoes on the way!

I remember there is a Hanting Express Hotel near the railway station, 1.5-2km away. You can take a taxi to ask the driver to take you there. It doesn't cost that much. Or take a taxi to the grottoes upon getting off. I know there is a Maidi Diyijia (麦地第一家宾馆), which is just within waling distance to the grottoes.
