s1 visa after marriage

Question

I want to marry in Wuxi, China. I will have Chinese Z. After I marry my foreign wife is it difficult for her to get an S1? Can she stay with me in china until her S1application is approved?

Hi, your foreign wife is able to apply for S1 type, but the consular officers have final say to her application. As I know, some of applicants were issued with S2 in such situation. I am not sure what type she holds now, but you can visit Wuxi PSB in your area for more details.
