About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Beijing to Mongolia transfer.

We will be arriving BJ on American Airlines from Chicago next month and transferring to MIAT to Mongolia within 4 hours. We have to check a suitcase, do we have to go through immigration and custom before we pick up our suitcase or can we go to the international transit area. I could not find which terminals the two airlines are in to see how to do this.

Both of the two airlines are in T3.
Yes, you have to go through immigration and custom before pick up your luggage.

The direction signs in the airport are very clear, so you can easily finish your transfering during 4 hours. Time is enough, so please do not hurry when making transfering.

may I know whether you use the same airlines for the exactly same journey? Well then, three hous are enough for a transfer. Don't worry!

Mina, thank you for your quick response! We are flying in on Air China and flying out on Mongolian Airlines. Thank you for confirming that 3 hours is enough time. Much appreciated.
