Australia Citzen Applying in San Francsico

Hi I'm an Australian Citizen holidaying in SF during July and I wanted to apply for a Chinese Visa (6 month double entry), do any issues arise being a Foreign citizen apply for visa for China in the San Fran, aka not in their country of origin.
Thanks

Hi, you can do this in SF if you hold valid visa. You can also contact the consulate directly for confirmation.
