Hiking up the Huangshan for sunrise?

Me and my partner are planning to stay at a hotel in Tangkou, but we want to experience the sunrise. Is it possible to hike up in time for the sunrise (we're aware the cable car starts operating at 6:30) - would we be allowed up the mountain itself?

Climbing this mountain at night is not allowed, because the road is dangerours and the rocks are many. There is no lights along the road on the mountain.
If you want to see the sunrise, you need to live on the mountain. Or you can climb the mountain in the day time and see the sunset in the later afternoon.
