Freeze Dried Food For Hiking

A group of us from Australia are hiking in Sichuan Province in the Mountains. I have ordered commercially made Freeze Dried Food for 7 people for 5 Days. The value of the products in Tasmania (Where it is made) is approximately $900AU. It is a mixture of products, but includes pre cooked meat (Chicken & a small quantity of cooked minced beef) the other products are mainly pasta. There is some cooked oat products, mixed with dried fruit, and powdered milk.
If allowed how do I get permission to carry it and how long to get permission. I will be travelling on the 14th May

Meat whether raw or cooked is strictly prohibited from entering China. For cooked oat products, you need to choose the Red Lane when you go through customs and declare proactively for its powdered milk. Besides, you should better take less than 2.5kg, and if the total price exceeds CNY 2,000, you will need to pay taxes on the excess amount. But if each of you shares some, you can pay less or even no taxes.
