About:Beijing Taxi

Taxi for 2 adults, 3 children plus luggage from Beijing Airport to Grand Mecure

Hi there, will a Taxi's accommodate 5 people plus luggage? If we arrive at the capital airport are there mini vans available for a party our size? Also, do you have some idea of cost to get from airport to Grand Mecure BJ Central? Thank you for your help.

No, a taxi is unable to hold you all and some luggage. The minivan shall be available around, but they are not legalised, so not safe and charge higher. It costs about 105RMB to get from Capital Airport to the Grand Mecure by taxi, which is a 35 KMs’ route, without considering any traffic jams. There is no mini van waiting for you at the airport taxi pick-up point .But a taxi can pick up mostly 4 adults once, so for you who are 2 adults and 3 children, I think it’s OK.
You can also take airport shuttle bus line 2 (Capital airport-Xidan line). It costs 24RMB each.
