About:China High Speed Train

high speed train from Shanghai to Hong Kong and back

I would like to go June 29 from Shanghai to Hong Kong and July 3 back. Is it possible? If so, what ticket purchase? Thanks for reply.

It is ok to go from Shanghai to Hong Kong on June 29, but you can not return on July 3th, as the train from Hong Kong to Shanghai only available on even-numbered days.
you can book the ticket from Shanghai to Hong Kong with online agents like this website, but the tikcet from hong Kong to Shanghai should be booked in Hong Kong.
