Options to travel to Haikou from the mainland

What options do I have to travel from the mainland (say, Quangzhou or Shenzhen) to that city? How long does each choice take to reach that city and how frequent are those options each day? Train, by sea or by air? Thank you! Ying

Hi, Ying.
From Quanzhou, there are direct methods to your destination, but from Shenzhen, the best method to your destination is the direct flight. The direct flight takes around one hour and ten minutes. From Quanzhou, you may need to transfer in Shenzhen or Guangzhou.

The other method is to travel by train. If you want to use the train, you need to reach Guangzhou first from either Quanzhou or Shenzhen. The train from Guangzhou to the destination is around 11 to 12.5 hours.

There is no ferry service between your destination and the cities on mainland.
