About:Gegentala Grassland

Is there a way to travel from the grasslands to the desert directly, or is it required to return to Hohhot to do this in Inner Mongolia?

It is almost impossible if you plan to use public buses and you need to return to Hohhot or Baotou to transfer from the grassland to desert.
If you join a group tour, they will arrange everything well for you and you can travel from one grassland to the desert directly.
