Bus to Urumqi crossing the Takuaman Desert

Is it possible to get some official informations about the bus going to Urumqi crossing the desert? I'm palling to be in Hotan at the end of February and want to transfer to Urumqi.

Someone knows the official timetable? The costs? Thank you so much

Do you mean Taklamakan Desert? Well, you can take a long-distance bus to Urumqi from Hetian Bus Station and it costs around CNY360 per person. The buses go across the vast desert, which is quite thrilling.

Also, you can take a train to Urumqi from Hetian Railway Station. The train departs at 12:12 every day, and the trip takes about 29 hours. Or, you may take a direct flight to Urumqi (about 1.5 hours).
