I heard that you can also apply for China visa in Hong Kong, and if yes what will be the requirements?

Hi Edelyn, I'm from Philippines i will be traveling to Hong Kong by the first week of July, My Chinese friend invited to also visit him in Shanghai. Thanks

No, you need to apply in advance in the Philippines. Although it is possible to get one in HK, things always change and you may get refused in HK.
