Can i extend my x2 visa.

Hello,

I am currently studying in Shanghai Chinese language and i am holding a X2 which is valid for 180 days. but now i want to continue my 2 semester in Shenzhen. If will change the university from shanghai to shenzhen can i extend it from china to study 2 semester in other university.

Can i apply from China and i do not need to go back to my home country and apply again?
