Recommended Places of interest to visit during Sept and Oct / in Taiwan

Hello! I will be traveling to Taiwan from 29 sept to 5 oct. What would be the recommended places of interest to go(to avoid the typhoon season) ?

You can visit the Sun Moon Lake and Ali Mountain. I also recommend you visit Kenting and Hualien.
