I am from Australia staying in Hong Kong I want to visit Guangzhou & other cities how to get visa

We are leaving on the 15th of June and we don't have it already as we didn't know we needed one? Would be better staying in Hong Kong and doing day visits? I should have got a business commerce trading type but no-one explained this to us. until now

Can you please advise us on where and how we need to apply?
