from tunxi to the yellow mountain

Hello,We are flying fro, Beijing to Tunxi airport and landing around 20:30. The next morning we want to climb the mountain as early as possible. What is the fastest way to get to tangkou and to the eastern steps cable car before the crowds arrive? (we only have 1 day for the mountain)

If you take a taxi from the airport directly to the mountain scenic area, it costs no more than CNY150. Or u can take a taxi to Tunxi Bus Station, where there are frequent buses to the cable car station of the scenic area at Tangkou.

Thank you for you fast reply.If i take a taxi very early the next morning, where do i have to tell the taxi driver to get down? How far into the park can i go with a taxi ? (Is it only to Tangkou or to the entrance of the park or maybe even until the Yungu cable car?What time does the Huangshan mountain park opens? When can i take the first Yungu cable car up?Thank you

Tell the driver to take you to 黄山风景区. Generally, a taxi will take you to Tangkou, close to the main entrance of the scenic area. It opens 06:00-06:30 in the early morning. And the Yungu Cable Car starts operating at 06:30.
