Hi, I am planning to take the earliest bus possible from Tunxi to Suzhou at 4 January 2018.

Can someone advise me where can I look for the schedule and book the ticket in advance?

Oh, Fabian, I can only find one direct bus schedule at 05:50 to Suzhou. The booking website only has Chinese version. You need to go to the coach station earlier and buy the bus ticket.
