About:Embassy of Sri Lanka in China

M type Visa extension for 7 days

Two of my Sri Lankan friends received Chinese M type for 12 days (1st June 2014 to 11th June 204) and currently staying in the Shijiazhuang city. We need to extend it for another 5 or 7 days so that they can participate for a business discussion as well.

Can you all help us to get it done please ?

Appreciate if you could send us following information very urgently.
1) the documents which need to submit ?
2) how long will if take to proceed ?
3) procedure & the fee structure briefly

Hi, they can try to apply for extension at local PSB with following documents:
1.Valid passport.
2.Valid Registration Form of Temporary Residence in Shijiangzhuang
3.Completely filled VISA / STAY PERMIT / RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION FORM with recent half-length, white background, bareheaded, full-faced 2-inch color photo.
4.The applicants shall submit legal registration certificate of the inviter (entities or individuals within China). In addition, the inviter (individual) should also submit his ID card and residence booklet or temporary residence permit.
5.Chinese official letter with official seal of the Unit issued by the inviting units to Exit-entry Administration Department of Shijiangzhuang Municipal Public Security Bureau, describing the following details: (1) basic information of the inviting unit and applicant; (2) purpose to visit China including activities, time and place of staying, exit-entry itinerary arrangement; (3) source of expense and warrant to observe relevant laws during stay in China.
The processing takes about 7 working days, but sorry I am not sure about the cost.
