About:Nanjing Lukou International Airport

How do I get from Nanjing Central Hotel to Shanghai Pudong International Airport?

What is the easiest way (not too expensive) and how much would it cost to get from the Central Hotel, 208 Guangzhou Road, Gu Lou District to go to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. I need to take a flight leaving at 3pm from the airport.

But I found the Central Hotel is at Zhongshan Road of Gulou District, while NJ Grand Hotel is at No. 208, Guangzhou Road. Now I am a little confused. Anyhow, whichever u are referring to, I suggest you go to NJ Train Station or South Train Station to take a high speed train.

If you arrive at Shanghai Train Station, take shuttle bus line 5 to PVG to catch your flight. If at Shanghai Hongqiao, I suggest you walk to Hongqiao Airport through a special pass to take shuttle bus line 1 to arrive in an hour or a little bit longer.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am sorry, yes I am staying at the NJ Grand Hotel. Do you know how long it takes to get to the train station from the Hotel, and is it best to get the taxi and how much will the taxi be? Which Train Station is easier to get to from the hotel?
What is PVG?
What is likely time in hours, to get from the Grand Hotel to NJ train station to Shanghai Train Station and then to Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, for someone who does not speak Chinese?
Last question do any of the people at the train station speak English?

From the map, the NJ Train Station is closer to your hotel than the South Station, so you can go there to catch the train for Shanghai. Well, the taxi fare from your hotel to the train station shall be 20-25RMB and it takes around 15min to arrive. The bullet train to Shanghai Train Station takes around 1h and 40min.

The shuttle bus line 5 of Shanghai Pudong International Airport, for short PVG, takes around 70min.

In the train station, the staff speak some simple English. Though, don't hesitate to ask people around you if you have any problems. Most Chinese people are willing to help. Last time when I was in Shanghai, a Chinese girl even helped me to buy the train ticket.
