Is it still possible to do two times one month extension for a tourist visa?

Last year in june i had 1 month tourist L and i could extend it two times one month, i went back in september in Bejing with a new three month L but i could extend it only one time one month. This time i am back again with one month tourist L and want to extend it two times one month, is it still possible? Did i only get one month extension last time because i had three month one or is it a new rule?
