I need to store a suitcase for 3 weeks while I travel light

does the luggage storage at train stations allow items to be stored for this length of time or is it only for a day at a time? How secure is it? Any other alternatives in Suzhou?

yes, you can store your luggage at the left luggage of the railway station for 3 weeks. it charges CNY 5 - 15 each day, so you need to pay CNY 105 - 315.
it is safe, but you'd better take your valuable items along with you.
