Can my mom visit HK with a Venezuelan Residency w/o a HK visa? Less than 30d visit-Panama passport

Hi,
In order to get the HK Police Records for her US immigration process (NVC requirement), my mom needs with urgency to travel to HK. She currently lives in Venezuela and have been there for more than 15 years. She has a current Venezuelan Residency Stamp in the passport but the passport is Panamanian.

Could she visit HK with the Venezuela Residency Stamp in here passport. The visit will be short and will mainly be to get the paperwork from the Hong Kong Embassy.

Thanks,

Ricardo Mock Chang

No, the immigration officers only recognize passport for entry, so your mom has to apply for a HK visa in advance through Chinese embassy in Venezuela.
