About:Marriage Registration in China

Registering Marriage in China ?

Hi.. there. I am from Nepal and had married with Chinese wife. We have already registered our marriage in Nepal. Is it mandatory to also register it in china ? If yes ... what kind of documents do i need ? Besides this .. What is the benefits ... ( long visit visa ) etc. can we get if we register our marriage in china ?

Hi, you can take your foreign marriage certificate to Chinese embassy and apply for a notarization, then it can be use to register your marriage in China at your wife's local Civil Affairs.
