About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Do we need separate visas for China and Hong Kong visits?

Hi. We are planning to visit china and hongkong in the near future, do we need separate visas for china and hongkong or only Chinese visa is sufficient even to visit hongkong? We are pakistan nationals.

Yes, you need to apply separate ones for your HK and mainland China visits. You can apply for the L type from Chinese embassy in UAE if you have valid resident permit for employment, study or other legal documents. As for the HK one, you can post your application directly to HK Immigration Department.
