About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Now I am U.S citizen and stayed in south korea, few days ago I applied chinese visa in korea but was rejected.

Because I changed my name recently ,,,and still exist the chinese visa in former passport, So I attached name change document and new passport too,,,but rejected,,,,due to not enough verifying documents for the name change.
So I'd like to know whether can I apply chinese vise in hongkong?

Look forward your kind reply

Hi, it is possible for you to get one in Hong Kong, and you may use your new passport only if you apply there. You can also apply through a travel agency if necessary.

I think you can only get single or double entry one in HK, and fee is USD 140 with no difference where you apply for it. Normal processing takes 4 working days.

For tourist L application, you should provide round-trip ticket and hotel reservation. Basic ones include your original passport, application form and photo.
