would i need to check out my baggagecheck in again if my flight is kl-baiyun

I'm flying from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Xi'an, China but I need to do a flight transfer at Baiyun Airport. Do I need to check out my luggage, go through the Customs and check in again? I'm taking China Southern Airlines. Thanks.

Yes, in general, you need to check out your luggage and go through the custom and check again in GZ airport if you are making an international transfer. But in order to make sure, you can suggested to consult the airline company to make sure.
