Do I require a VISA to fly into Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport) on New Zealand passport

Hi, I am flying to Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport) next Monday to visit a Shenzhen tradeshow. I will be there for 4 1/2 days. I am on a New Zealand passport....Can I get it issued at the airport?? Or do I need to pre-organize it?? I am running out of days, and only booked the travel yesterday... thanks!

Hi, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance from Chinese embassy or consulate, using express or rush service if necessary. This can not be done upon arrival at the airport.

Thanks Apollo. I keep getting mixed reports on the web. I have heard that for emergency last minute business travel, if i go armed with invites, i can get one issued on arrival?? Have you heard anything about this? I do not have time now to get it from madrid!

Hi, it is possible to get it on arrival in emergency, but no one here can ensure you with this. So why risk it.
