Unmarried dependent spouse

I have employment in Beijing and will obtain a z for myself and dependent visas for my children. Has anyone had any success in obtaining a dependent also for an unmarried spouse that isn't the father of the children? Can we get a statutory declaration stating that we are in a common law marriage?

Hi, as I know, they want to see marriage certificate for such application. you'd better visit the local PSB directly for more details.
