If you want to visit Tibet, you should apply for a L type at first. Besides, you should apply for the Tibet Travel Permit. As the rule regulates, individual foreign travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet alone. Instead, they should join group tours arranged by qualified travel agencies. The agencies can help you acquire the Tibet Travel Permit.
