tour of beijing an shangahi

Question

travelling from mumbai in India to two cities Beijing and Shanghai how should i go about it. I mean 1st should i go to beijing or 1st to shanghai.how many days each is advised to stay in these two cities. what are the sight seeing attractions in these two cities.My planned dates are 1st week of december 2014

I suggest you go Shanghai first, and spend 2 - 3 days there, then visit Beijing either by rail or by air, and stay in the capital city for 3 -4 days. in Shanghai, you visit the Bund and the Huangpu River, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Museum, and  Nanjing Road. in Beijing, you should not miss the Forbidden City, Geat Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Hutongs.
