About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Tashkent HK Beijing Tashkent

I am an American going to Hong Kong from Tashkent. On the return flight from Hong Kong the plane stops in Beijing. Can I get the visa for the Beijing stop and then carry on to Tashkent?
