Visiting without hiking for the Mount Hua

We are in our 70s, with vision problems; we can walk fine...as long as there is a solid railing and no steep drops.
Is it worth it to visit Mt. Hua just to see the temples and avoid the trails.
Or can one simply take the cable car without having to hike around?

Hi, Carol. As I know, the temples are along the climbing routes, but you are not suggested to climb on your own, because the pathes are steep.

It is worth climbing the mountain, although you use the cable car to travel. In my opinion, you can use the North Peak Cable Car to reach the top of the north peak. Then wander around this peak. If you want to climb, you can walk to the west peak to get down the mountain. If you feel tired, you can use the north peak cable car to get down again.
