beijing to shanghai bullet train

Question

We are 12 adults + 1 infant plan to travel on August 28, 2014 with first class bullet rail from Beijing to Shanghai. What stations you recommend both in Beijing & Shanghai which is the fastest and no stop/1-3 stops? We plan to depart from Beijing at 10am.  How far from Schonbrunn hotel Beijing to that Beijing station? How far from Shanghai Wyundham hotel to that Shanghai station. When should I purchase the ticket online? Thank you.

We suggest you book G15 deaprting at 11:00 with 3 stops or G3 departing at 14:00 with 2 stops. Both of them set off from Beijing South railway station and arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao station.
