About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Visa for a longer stay

Hi my boyfriend got accepted at an university that is in Beijing
Now we need to know how I can come with him and stay with him for as long as possible
He will be studying in china for two years.
If I can get a six month one how soon can I apply for a new one when that has been used? and go back to him?

Hi, you are able to apply for a tourist L or possibly visit S type if you have document showing your relationship. Both L or S in such situation can be extended without leaving at Beijing PSB, but you may need to provide additional supporting documents such as a bank statement and return ticket. You can apply for new L anytime after leaving China if you need.
