The Silk Road was explored during the Han by Zhang Qian. Since then, west regions and China started to communicate in many aspects, among which the cultural exchange took up an important role. Due to that, the Chinese cultural became more abundant and versatile. As well as that, Chinese culture also started to spread to other countries!
